Chad Weiss

Mr. Weiss was the co-founding partner of JOG in 2002, and is primarily involved in investment committee analysis.

Mr. Weiss has 30 years of experience as an investment banker and investor in the energy sector. From October 2002, until resigning in May 2006 to join full time with JOG, Mr. Weiss was Managing Director and Head of the Energy Group for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Before joining RBC, Mr. Weiss was Managing Director and Head of Energy and Power Group at Bank of America Securities. From early 1981, until joining Bank of America securities in 1998, Mr. Weiss was a senior investment banker with Smith Barney (now Citigroup), and had served as the Managing Director in charge of their Energy and Power group for a number of years prior to his departure.

Mr. Weiss received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
